Agile goals increase focus, motivation and alignment

Top-down annual targets alone are proven to be no longer effective enough in today's dynamic VUCA world. 
Regularly setting and reviewing non-routine initiatives and activities that are considered important and urgent together with the team is an important addition: why else would Google have been successfully using quarterly Objectives & Key (OKR) for over 25 years?  

How do I come up with new goals or services or products and processes: a look at the (new/additional) Business Model Canvas (BMC), i.e. a large poster or canvas, or a design thinking approach can help here - whether at short notice in a one-week sprint or over a longer period of time.

Agile methods such as Kanban or Scrum, in which communication and work are more frequent, visible and valuable, help to implement the new things as quickly and as well as possible.
